As President and Deputy Director of Texas Innovates I lead the vision and strategic direction of the non-profit. I am also the Managing Director and Founder of Climate Impact Capital (CIC), a venture capital firm that invests in technology-driven, disruptive early-stage companies that have the potential to accelerate the energy transition and significantly reduce climate change risks. I identify market opportunities and talented teams, and then partner closely to help them achieve long-term successful company growth, financial returns, and positive impact. I am passionate about solving one of the great challenges of our time – ensuring sustainable, abundant, and affordable energy solutions for all. With an MBA from MIT and a background in mechanical engineering, I bring 20 years of experience across the energy value chain, from upstream oil and gas to downstream hydrogen and CCUS.
