TEXAS INNOVATES IS THE LARGEST CLEAN TECHNOLOGY INCUBATOR IN THE UNITED STATES

We’re not your “typical” co-working space. Here at Texas Innovates , we foster a culture of community and collaboration that helps all of our startups grow.

Today, we’re home to more than 60 hardware startup companies that collectively employ more than 500 people. Together, this community of entrepreneurs is working to solve the world’s biggest energy and environmental challenges.

Our companies range from early stage teams just beginning prototyping, to those who have closed a Series A venture round and are starting to scale.

Their technologies span across many sectors of the energy space, from energy efficiency and transportation, to renewable power generation and water technology.

NETWORK, EDUCATION & EVENTS

NETWORK: Joining the Texas Innovates community provides access to fellow entrepreneurs who are willing to share experiences, our network of angel investors, venture capital firms and corporate strategic partners.

EDUCATION: Texas Innovates companies have access to on-site resources that include weekly office hours, lunch & learns, and seminars on a broad range of topics that are essential to either running a business or improving your technical expertise. Examples include expert discussions and trainings from partners on specific tools and resources available to Texas Innovates members.

EVENTS: Texas Innovates hosts a variety of events and programs, including our bi-monthly Energy Bar networking event which brings together the Greater Boston cleantech ecosystem.

FACILITY, EQUIPMENT & SOFTWARE

MACHINE SHOP: Texas Innovates companies working on prototypes have access to an extensive community machine shop located on our prototyping floor. Tools include: a lathe, drill press, vertical band saw, mill, table saw, grinding wheel, belt sander, miter saw, and more. Training and certification (provided on-site) are required to access the equipment.

SOFTWARE: Texas Innovates companies have access to software provided by sponsors Dassault Systems (SOLIDWORKS), Autodesk, Mathworks, Altium, Microsoft and more.

SPONSORED SERVICES: Professional legal services, marketing/PR consulting, IT services, HR services, graphics and design, real estate and liability insurance are examples of additional resources provided through our Partner Network.
