HARC is a nonprofit research hub providing independent analysis on energy, air, and water issues to people seeking scientific answers. Its research activities support the implementation of policies and technologies that promote sustainability based on scientific principles.

Given HARC’s extensive expertise and experience in air, energy, and water issues, it will assist Texas Innovates (TI) across all stages of the project, from design and construction, through implementation and operations. HARC will serve as a technology tester and third-party validator on the project. It will also serve as a resource for TI on technical matters related to green buildings, low impact development (LID), energy efficiency, clean energy, microgrids, energy modelling, resilience, contaminants, life cycle assessments (LCA), transportation, air and water quality issues, and geospatial data and analytics.
